If you’re a senior in high school and planning to enroll at Edgewood College as a freshman in the fall, here’s your answer:
Here are the steps to apply for financial aid:
- Apply for admission to Edgewood College.
- Based on your cumulative GPA and highest Composite ACT score, you will be considered for an Academic Scholarship. Use the Scholarship Caluculator to determine your scholarship amount.
- After December 15, apply for Additional Scholarships by completing the Edgewood College Financial Aid Application. The scholarship deadline is March 1.
- After January 1, complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. The Priority Deadline for completing the FAFSA is March 1. You will receive your financial aid award after March 15, or 2-3 weeks after you complete the FAFSA. If you are applying for Additional Scholarships, it is strongly recommended that you complete the FAFSA.
One advantage of applying for admission early (before December 1) is the opportunity to complete a Financial Aid Estimator. Completing an estimator is completely optional and doing so will allow you to have a better idea of how much grant and loan money you can expect to receive after you complete the FAFSA.
