It’s that time of the year again, winter frost is this Friday! For those who are unfamiliar, winter frost is a semi-formal dance that happens every year at the Monona Terrace. It’s thrown by the Resident Assistants and the student workers at CAB (Campus Activity Board.)
Last year, I had so much fun! They have a combination of live band music and a DJ, and really yummy food. There is also a bus that goes to Monona Terrace and back to Edgewood throughout the whole night so you can come and go as you please. Also, Phil’s staff makes a delicious meal and transforms Washburn Heritage Room into a lovely dining atmosphere. Last year we had record-breaking attendance, and I hope this year we can break it again. Basically, winter frost is a night to go out with your friends or your significant other and just have a really good time. It’s a nice break from school and studying, it’s definitely worth the ten-dollar ticket.
It’s also fun to see people dressed up. Often times, you see your classmates in sweatpants and hoodies, grabbing a coffee and heading to class. I loved seeing people dress their best, and it was nice for me to get dressed up as well.
Winter Frost is this Friday, and I’m really looking forward to it! I’ll make sure to write another blog after the dance is done!
Have a great week, everyone!
