On Saturday, August 21, 2010, Edgewood College welcomed a record number of freshmen to campus… all 327 of them. After a few action-packed days of orientation, the 2010/2011 academic year kicked off on Wednesday, August 25. Since then, things are rolling along smoothly.

Fast forward to September 3 and the application season for Fall 2011 is already 3 days old.

As one class of freshmen starts, the College is already looking towards welcoming the next one. How many freshmen will begin their college journey at Edgewood College on August 20, 2011? The College isn’t exactly sure. In the eyes of the staff in the Admissions Office, this uncertainty is pretty exciting… and only a little nerve-racking.

If you’re a high school senior, you might be feeling the same way–kind of excited and kind of nervous. Where will you be 1 year from now?

Well, now is the best time to start your journey. Now is the time to learn more about Edgewood College, and now is the time to apply. Here are some simple steps to get started:

1. Learn more. Check out our viewbook (this provides an overview of the college), learn about majors, and/or have information mailed to you.

2. Visit campus. There are 4 tours each day (Monday-Friday) at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. Click here to schedule a visit and to learn more about other special visit opportunities.

3. Apply. It only takes 10-15 minutes to apply online. After you apply, your next step is to go to your Guidance Office or Student Services Office and have your official high school transcript sent to Edgewood.
