Welcome to the bimonthly Q & A Edgewood College Student Experience Blogs: Twice a month we post a question, and current Edgewood College students answer the question based on their own experience as an EC student. Feel free to add your own two cents by posting response comments. Enjoy. (don’t forget to check out the EC MySpace page as well)
A: Student involvement in student organizations!!! There are so many clubs and organizations on campus, everyone needs members and people to help out with events. I think it’d be great if more people wanted to get involved in some way on campus. Clubs range from Student Government to major organizations (Communication Club, Theatre Assembly etc.) and service organizations.
A: Even though I don’t have a car on campus, I think the parking needs to be improved. There is not enough room for all of the students that park on campus and commuters while classes are in session. It gets a little tiresome to hear about how bad the parking is every class period.
A: There are not a lot of things I would change, but one is campus involvement. There are a lot of clubs and activities for students. But from what I see students are not that much involved. Most clubs peak around 30 members. Part of the problem is that the student body is small, and many students commute, so they can’t make a commitment to any organizations. Overall, enough people join to make a difference, but it would be nice to reach more people on campus.
A: I’d love it if the Wingra Café was open later. When living on campus, I used to always get late night munchies and would have to resort to either popping some popcorn in the microwave or ordering some Chinese from off campus. Good thing restaurants deliver!
